The Rosary Society News

Not one of those who love her can perish; not one of those who try to imitate her can fail to attain eternal salvation. – St. John Eudes

We hope that your summer is going well and that you are staying cool!

Our 2023-2024 welcome letter and calendar have been sent out to
the membership. Please look for these in the mail. If you have not
received our letter by the end of August, please reach out to us.
We will begin our 2023-2024 service year on September 10th at the
10:30 am mass. We will meet at the Grotto immediately following
mass, to pray the Rosary together. Our prayers will be offered to the
Blessed Mother for our current and deceased members. We hope to
see you all. Check the bulletin and our webpage for details about
this and future meetings.

All women of the parish are invited to join the Society. If you
would like to see what we are about, please send us an email at the
address below or leave a note at the Rectory. Include your name
and best phone number and one of our board members will reach
out to you. You are also welcome to join our meeting on October 1st
to learn about our mission. We hope to see you there!

The Rosary Society meets the FIRST Sunday of the month.

Please join your fellow Rosarians in the reserved pews at the front of the
church for the 10:30 mass. We will meet in the large cafeteria immediately
following mass. Should you require the chair lift, please let one of the
board members know after mass. An assigned Rosarian will assist in the
operation of the lift.

Mission Statement

The Rosary Society of Notre Dame embraces our threefold ministry:

  1. To promote veneration of and devotion to our Blessed Mother through recitation of the Rosary and meditation on its Mysteries,
    2. To provide charitable service to the parish community, and
    3. To cultivate an active faith-based social/service network of multi-generational and multicultural membership in the Rosary Society.

We reinforce our spiritual mission at each meeting. Our opening includes the Pledge of Allegiance and the recitation of a decade of the Rosary. After a brief business recap, various speakers and entertainers are scheduled throughout the year followed by a variety of refreshments and baked goods. Future ministry and social events are discussed for input from our members during these meetings.
