Father Scolaro grew up in Bayville with his parents, Antonette and Charles, and his sister, Theresa. Though baptized at Saint Gertrude in Bayville, his home parish is Saint Dominic in Oyster Bay, where he attended elementary school. He went on to Chaminade High School and subsequently studied biology and philosophy at the University of Notre Dame, graduating in 2010. He entered the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception the following fall to begin formation. He served as a Deacon at Saint Aidan in Williston Park, and upon his ordination to the Sacred Priesthood in 2014 he was assigned associate pastor at Saint Joseph in Garden City. He was also assigned in 2016 to serve as the chaplain at Hofstra University. Father Scolaro became Pastor at Notre Dame parish on June 27, 2018.
