Mary Molloy was raised in Steubenville Ohio and attended Franciscan University of Steubenville for both her BA and MA in Catechetics and Theology. Mary concentrated in Christian Ministry and Evangelization in the Catechetics program. In between her BA and MA she spent two years as a missionary with National Evangelization Teams in Ireland where she traveled the country with a team of other young adult missionaries helping parishes and schools with parish missions and retreat programs. Mary worked at Franciscan University while studying for her MA in Campus Ministry, Missions and Residence Life. She then lived in Texas for four years teaching and helping local parishes with evangelization and catechesis. Mary moved to the New Jersey/New York area two years ago and has been actively involved in teaching and evangelization. Mary often works with the Community of the Franciscans of the Renewal doing retreat work and inner city youth ministry. Mary is very excited by the opportunity to be a part of the family of Notre Dame Parish here in New Hyde Park and all that the Lord has in store for this amazing community!
